DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

Dussehra is one of the most significant festivals in India. The celebration of Dussehra indicates the victory of Lord Rama over Demon king Ravana. This festival was celebrated in Cecil Convent school junior, with great enthusiasm where children presented the play inacting the roles of various characters of Ramayan. After the play effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkaran were burnt depicting the victory of Good over Evil.

Students dressed up as Ramayana characters. The school playground echoed with chants of Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev.
