It's my pleasure and privilege to serve as the Chairman of Cecil Convent School Junior. It has been my passion to help grow the city’s educational system. I have always tried to impart quality education to kids in our city. Being in the education industry for almost 20 years, I with the help of my management team and teachers have made a qualitative difference in Ambala’s education.

Both the Ambala City and Ambala Cantt. schools aim to provide our students with a holistic environment, where not only their academics is focused on, but also their all round development. We follow an activity based approach to academics which helps develop and polish a child’s cognitive skills, social & emotional skills, speech & language skills and fine motor skills.

We prepare children to face future challenges and to make the most of available opportunities. As a parent you want the best for your child and we will work by your side and assist you in grooming them to be fine individuals.

We have to work as a team to make this learning process enjoyable and fruitful for our students in order to make them morally upright citizens of the country. Our school works towards inculcating essential values and moral attributes in the students like honesty, generosity, compassion, love and justice. The students are taught to study in an atmosphere of love and unity where each student sees himself or herself as a member of one big family.

Mr. Abhas Windlas – Director, Cecil Convent School Junior, believes that “The right education should be holistic which helps today’s kids in becoming well-rounded individuals, ready to face the world.”

After Securing a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Manchester, he has been thoroughly involved and in creating a multi-faceted, experiential learning system at Cecil Convent School.

Mr. Abhas is responsible for the overall digital transformation and bringing the best global teaching practices to Cecil Convent School Junior. Moreover, he is credited for the IT Enablement at CCSJ with the coming of Tata Class Age teaching platform, that is being currently used by the school.

Working relentlessly, towards his vision of moulding global citizens at Cecil, Mr. Abhas strongly advocates the concept of Montessori education, which believes in learning through activities. He has been continuously inspiring the leadership at Cecil school who have blended these methods in their own unique way of teaching.

With the co-implementation of unique and holistic teaching methods that enable children to excel at almost every aspect of learning, signature to the CCSJ style of education, Abhas is revered for his distinct way of looking at learning that entails popular culture, sports, music, events, and current affairs.

Mr. Abhas Windlas believes that pushing to better your best is imperative to challenge the rules that have existed and therefore, create something new. He is a keen reader and an avid traveler.

She believes that “Education is not preparation for life but life itself.”

A Housewife turned Educator, she is an inspiration for many. A responsible citizen of Jagadhri, she has worked tirelessly from the inception of the school, till the present day and has been successful in making Cecil Convent School Junior an important part of the educational system of Jagadhri.

She believes that Cecil is ONE FAMILY including it’s teachers, children and parents. Each child is like a bud ready to bloom with the right kind of nourishment and environment and she leaves no stone unturned to create a positive and holistic environment for children at Cecil Convent School, Jagadhri.

Ms Savita is a strong believer that ‘A good teacher is like a candle- it consumes itself to light the way for others.’ She motivates her teachers to treat each Cecilian as their own and work towards their overall personality development.She strives to make the foundation years of each child, i.e; their world of many firsts, like first teacher, first friend, first lesson and so on, the most meaningful and memorable one. She feels fortunate and thankful to be a part of the learning journey of many Little Cecilians.

CCSJ is an amalgamation of competent staff and an efcient administration. The school came into existence with a vision to create a safe and supportive environment for its students, to provide perfect balance of academics, artistic and social opportunities. The talents, skills and abilities of each student needs to be identied, nurtured and encouraged so that the ward is able to reach greater heights. It always gives me great pleasure to see the sea of smiling faces of children.Our children are intelligent, resilient, creative, imaginative, disciplined, respectful, and ethical and would remain dedicated to life-long learning. We are best known for our innovative teaching methodologies and educational programs. At Cecil Convent School Junior Jagadhri, we have a well developed curriculum that includes variety of activities. The teachers are well trained in child psychology as well as frequent workshops are been conducted in the school premises on child psychology specially for teachers. We are the first to introduce” Reggio Emillia” approach in this Industrial town. In school we focus on building up their self-confidence and independence that boosts their creativity imagination.
