At Cecil Convent Junior we aim to provide a versatile environment to our children. The colourful classrooms are built to attract the children in order to make learning an enjoyable experience, something they look forward to everyday. Following the Montessori teaching methods we have created an environment that will enhance a kid’s ability to learn, communicate, care and develop confidence in any field he wishes to pursue.
A variety of activity centres have been developed to groom the skills of our children in diverse activities.
Kidzilla
This is a fun zone, where kids get the opportunity to understand concepts in a unique way. It is equipped with educational toys to broaden their perspective. Important skills like observation, motor skills, logical thinking, problem solving, etc. Children are exposed to equipment’s like shoe lace tying, shirt buttoning, zipping, hammering and many more. This will improve their routine performance.
Library
Welcome to the world of books. Stocked with attractive and educative reading material, the colorful ambience draws the attention of the kids. They get to step out of their curriculum text and have fun with picture books, animal thesaurus, story books, rhymes, etc.
Stage
This particular element holds immense importance in today’s times to boost a child’s confidence. Kids will be more socially involved when they will face the stage repeatedly. It will eliminate the fear of dealing with everyone’s attention along with encouraging them to take leadership roles.
Mouse House
This is an initiative to make children aware of the emerging technology around us. Kids are introduced to the computer in a fun way where they learn to handle the mouse, work their way with the cursor on the screen, clicking, turning on and shutting the computer down. This will enable them to grasp the working of a computer.
Funzone
This space facilitates contact with various visual aids of learning while also having a gala time. Projector screening of movies, dance classes and music lessons are the components of this room. There are end numbers of instruments including but not limited to the Congo, Bongo, Casio, Dafli, etc.
Play Area
Kids of such a young age love to let out their energy through playtime. We have a huge bouncy, ball pool, a trampoline, slide house various kids’ bikes for them to play with.
Circle Room
Children will assemble here twice a week to enhance their speech. They’ll learn to converse with their friends in a free flowing manner on the topic for the day. It also has a sick bed corner for when a child is feeling under the weather.
Splash Pool
When the scorching heat starts to trouble our tiny tots, we have a splash pool day. Kids get to jump into a refreshing pool.
